At Docsicar, your satisfaction matters to us. We sell used and occasional repair manual books and want to make sure every purchase meets your expectations. If something is not right with your order, we are here to help.
1. Our 30-Day Return & Refund Window
We accept return requests within
30 days of the date you received your order. After 30 days, we are unable to offer a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a refund, the item must be:
- In the same condition as when you received it
- Unused and not further damaged beyond its described condition at the time of sale
- Accompanied by your order number or proof of purchase
2. How to Request a Refund
To start a return or refund request, please contact us within 30 days of receiving your order using one of the methods below:
Please include the following in your message:
- Your full name and order number
- The reason for your return or refund request
- Photos of the item if it arrived damaged or not as described
We will respond to your request within
2 business days with instructions on how to proceed.
3. Refund Types
3.1 Full Refund
You are eligible for a full refund if:
- The item you received does not match the description listed at the time of purchase
- The item arrived damaged or in significantly worse condition than described
- You received the wrong item
- Your package was lost in transit and not delivered
3.2 Partial Refund
A partial refund may be issued at our discretion if:
- The item shows signs of use or additional wear beyond its original listed condition upon return
- Parts of the book are missing (pages, covers, inserts) that were present at the time of sale
3.3 No Refund
Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:
- The return request is made after the 30-day window has passed
- The item was accurately described and the customer simply changed their mind after extended use
- Damage was caused by the customer after delivery
4. Return Shipping
If your return is approved, we will provide you with return shipping instructions. Please note:
- If the return is due to our error (wrong item, damaged item, item not as described), we will cover the return shipping cost.
- If the return is for any other reason (e.g., buyer's remorse), the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
We recommend using a trackable shipping method for your return. Docsicar is not responsible for items lost in return transit.
5. Refund Processing
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you by email of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, your refund will be processed to your
original payment method via Stripe within
5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer. Please note that processing times may vary and are outside of our control once the refund has been initiated on our end.
If you have not received your refund after 10 business days, please first check with your bank. If the issue persists, contact us at
support@docsicar.com.
6. Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges at this time. If you would like a different item, please return your original purchase (subject to our return policy) and place a new order separately.
7. Damaged or Lost Packages
If your order arrived damaged or was never delivered, please contact us within
7 days of the expected delivery date. We will work with the carrier to investigate and resolve the issue as quickly as possible. A full refund or replacement will be offered where applicable.
